Not a prequel, but an AU version. Something like Max never left, Chloe's father is alive, that sort of stuff. BTS never happens. The idea would be that this is the "original" timeline, before the MC corrupts everyone, and then, at the end, it goes back to normal, but "wrong", and we are at the start of the first game.
