Legs used to be the main focus of feminine sex appeal until ww2. Just look at 1920/30s movies and glamour pics and you'll notice it. Flat slender girls with long legs were the thing. The ass-tits craze started during the 40s and developed especially in the 50s, but they still had some focus on legs until the early 90s with the widespread use of nylon tights. Apparently during the late 90s/ early 2000s they started wearing jeans pants like men and stockings became something for grannies.
