Japanese boomers aren't hoarding endless piles of money nor property because under Japanese inheritance law, something ridiculous like 80% goes to the state and houses need to be torn down at the owner's expense every couple of decades.
Look up expat advice, literally folks who move back to US/EU for a few years when it looks like their parents are about to die since A) they get to be with them and B) Japan won't take all the money they'd inherit due to their resident status.

Very few people remember the times when everyone was poor as fuck, all the old men were maimed in some way and military jeeps owned the roads. These guys are still too young for it, but they likely at least listened to the Obaasan's childhood stories more intently than others.

At least with Japan, if you see people protesting you can know these people genuinely believe it, they're not there just for virtue signalling. Boom air refueling on a trainer is useful only if you want commonality with other aircrafts as you don't need special training for it beside knowing how to fly in formation.
It's with basket probes that you need training for, on our tonkas we had to use one engine in reheat and do the rudder wiggle. quite different from the big stick>>63740036

Cute and antisemitistic!By training formation flying. with the boom you just need to follow the visual cues from the ladder lights. Poles train their F-16 pilots on the M-346 even for the AA class by having them join up witht the tanker and practice with the ladder light with the boom raised. I remember seeing a video of that somewhere.
