You know the drill! Share your ideas for an anime or manga all about girls loving girls!I guess it's only fair I start off with an idea of my own, so here's this: >A young woman is down on her luck, bogged down by student loan debt and finding it hard to get a job with her degree. Her parents try to support her, but it's hard, especially since they have the rest of the family to take care of and she's struggling >To try and help her parents and to hopefully make some money for herself, the young woman accepts a job offer that will have her take part in a science experiment that is supposed to revolutionize the world >What she doesn't know is that the project is based on human cloning, and she is to become the first person to have clones made of her >The experiment is a success...maybe too much of a success, actually, because instead of there only being one clone, there are five! Five clones with their own unique personalities >But while each clone is unique, they all share one thing in common besides their appearances: they're all in love with their original self! >Eager to test this, the scientists offer the startled, baffled young woman additional money to partake in an ongoing experiment where she interacts with her clones to find out just why they'd fallen for her, and if this would be the case for other clones >What follows is a romantic comedy anime about the MC and her harem of clones, who are all finding out who they are even as they continue to pursue the original, with the main questions throughout the series be why ARE the clones in love with the original girl, and in the end, are they truly their own people even though they're clones?>>4229817 The main character is called Yuri. Plot twist it's yaoi.>>4229855 That's just yuri on ice but with the character instead of the title>The Labrys Empire is one of the most powerful nations of the Lilium continent. The empire is known for their powerful mages that not only are very powerful but very numerous. >The secret to the empire's pòwer is the discovery that female children with magic power can develop their power 5 times faster than their male counterparts and are more likely to have magic aptitudes. >With the help of an unknown power for most, the labrysian managed to make that two women can have child, guaranteeing that their child will be female. This power made in the lapse of half of a millenia that every labrysian was a female and that 70% of the populance has magic aptitudes. This blessing is so powerful that a labrysian woman can get an outsider pregnant and have a daughter. >With the sheer dominance of this power, the empire jelously control their populance knowing that a single female could bring a full generation of powerfull mages, the empire became a rather closed place from the outside. >Among the labrysian mothers, those who give birth the the strongest daughters either has enough power or marries so the can be part of the high council. >The high council is formed of a select number of women who either have lots of wealth or have very strong genes that makes their influence abundant amoung the country. These people are led by the empress. The imperial family and the nobles form the high council and share the country between them.
Here comes the fun part (finally)
>The protagonist is the heiress of the [insert cool name] family, last child of 7 sisters, her mother died shortly after giving her, making her feel responsable for her dead. Because her 6 sisters either married a woman or became mages, she holds the family title at her young age (18). >MC family is one of the nobles who is declining and on the verge of losing their title. MC must recover her faimily honor and prestige by gaining favor, making relevant deeds or forming alliance with other families.>Magical girl show, but all the other magical girls besides the MC start off as dark magical girls >Story goes like this: at one time, there was a grand cosmic orchestra, a song that permeated every inch of creation, that was the source of magic and mystery. Through the power of the wondrous melody, humanity created a shining utopia that no evil could prevail against >Then, an outside force, coming from another universe, entered our universe and disrupted and corrupted the melody, turning what was once beautiful music into a cacophonous chorus that drove all who heard it mad, filling them with dark power at the cost of their minds and bodies >Yet all was not lost, as the magicians of the time saved seven pure notes from the original melody, and sealed the invader and its corruption away that the cost of magic fading from the world until one with a pure heart could come and restore the melody >Cut to the modern world, where the MC, a young woman with a good heart and a talent for music, helps an injured bird heal and recover. The bird, as it turns out, is a magical construct, a familiar, designed to find the one who would restore the melody: the MC, of course! It teaches her one of the notes, and prepares to teach her the other six when a horrible sound fills the air. >The entity that had been sealed away had been awakened by the sound of the music, and it reached out to corrupt the melody once more. >While the MC manages to save the note she was taught, the other six are taken and corrupted, and 'taught' to six other girls, corrupting them and turning them into dark magical girls! >Now, it's up to the MC to retrieve the other notes, save the girls, and restore the melody, so that the entity can be defeated once and for all and magic restored to the world!>>4231810 >The show is very much a musical, with the MC and her rivals using song and magic to battle one another, and plenty of songs of every different variety to go around. And as the MC takes the note she was given and expands upon it, turning it into a proper melody, others are drawn in as well, especially as the MC helps people >Each of the dark magical girls has some connection with music, though unlike the MC, it's usually in some negative way. >For the MC, music is a source of hope and joy. It reminds her of singing with her mother, it reminds her of watching shows and movies, it reminds her of how she and her friends used to sing together, it reminds her of her dream to one day sing to the world and share those positive emotions with everyone >But for the dark magical girls, it's different. For one, music has become sour, because her work as an idol has made music become a job, a chore, something she for money instead of something meaningful. For another, it's because her 'friends' and family put her down for her musical talents, mocking her and saying she'd never go far. For yet another, it's because hearing music reminds her of how her mother used to sing to her, and how her mother is gone now after a tragic accident >For all of the girls, music has become something sour, negative, rotten, and so their music reflects their pain and sorrow. It is through the MC's actions, both as a magical girl and as a normal girl, that this changes: the idol rediscovers her love of music, the bullied girl realizes her musical talent, the orphan girl now sings to honor her mother's memory, so and so forth >With each redeemed magical girl, the melody grows, especially as they start to fall in love with the MC for what she did for them, how she saved them both through magic and through kindness>>4231819 >There are plenty of love songs, both where the girls express their love for the MC and where the girls and MC sing about love together. There's also at least one song about the girls competing for the MC's heart, much to her confusion, embarrassment, and secret happiness. >The series culminates with the MC herself being taken and temporarily corrupted, along with the melody, but her friends/team/harem save her through the power of love and friendship. With their help, the MC unites the entire world in a grand song that defeats the entity once and for all, transforming its discordant note into something lovely, the entity fading away but surprisingly happy as it becomes something new >The series ends with the world once again a musical, magical utopia, with the MC having succeeded in sharing her love for music through out the world through song, and now singing along with her friends/lovers to a joyous, grateful population. Series ends with one final song sung by all the magical girls together, and a shot of all six girls planting a kiss on a blushing, flustered MC.Got an idea to write a story about a young girl (like 2nd or 3rd grade) trying to understand her sexuality. Why she likes girls, what is lesbianism, and how she feels about other girls. I wanted to make her someone really level headed, studious, book smart, but not exactly nerdy. Just someone who is very practical, yet doesn't know how to deal with emotions. Think someone like..Ena from Yotsubato or Mai from Mai-chan no Onee-chan Shiku Gohan. My only problem is, who should her girlfriend be? A tomboy or a graceful senpai or a childhood friend seems a bit too obvious. Any ideas?>>4232025 Teacher Writing someone that young seems tough though>>4232025 An onee-san who helps out at her grandparents' candy shop(something like dagashiya) that the fmc frequently visits.Archeologists just discovered unequivocal proof of a legit, unironical warrior woman with wounds that show she died in battle buried among the knights of a medieval military order (you know, warrior monks). Is, perhaps, /u/ able to claim that story for a plot? (Sadly, there was exactly ONE such body, so no love history betwen lesbian female knights.)
