Superstar works in a similar way to Star Wars Episodes I, II and III, the third part is the best by default and because the other two are garbage.

S3 was decent considering how bad it could be, but it's still not particularly good, especially for dragging out a problem whose solution was seen before the anime started, the full group of 11.

I'd have to agree, every entry in the LL franchise was just bland, save the few and far in between episodes dedicated to yuri pairings.
