Not really though. It takes a dumbfuck predator to get hugged, and bio mechanically it needs to basically hug whatever it stabs. It doesn’t have your ball and socket shoulder allowing it to swing its forelimbs wide to shank a nigga like someone holding a knife hammer grip, and it can’t really thrust past its own head forward. A predator is going to come from the flanks, and a forward facing spike with that shoulder anatomy isn’t useful from the side, only forwards.

And a regular ass stomp with its front hooves is probably enough attack that way. Maybe they are shanking eachother when fighting over mates or whatever, but it’s not a dimorphic feature, so either both sexes fight for sexual access or it’s not for display/sexual competition (one of the main reasons why Pachycephalosaurs as bighorn sheep expies is unlikely, leaving the head for more general combat like muskox at best).>>57092804
And other defensive armament is more easily provable. We have Tyrannosaur fossils with healed punctures that match Triceratops spikes (and enough Triceratops frills with Tyrannosaur bites that we know they ripped the head off of almost every triceratops they killed, in order to get after the meat of the neck), we have Allosaurs with healed Thagomizer wounds from stegosaurs, etc etc.>>57062791
