Copyright and repeat-infringer policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026.

Scope

Rule34.dev indexes and displays material obtained from third-party services. Some resources may be proxied or temporarily cached for reliable technical delivery. Copyright remains with the applicable owners and creators.

Notice evaluation and suppression

Complete notices are evaluated against the reported URLs, post IDs, creator tags, source records, and delivery URLs. Confirmed identifiers are placed in a suppression registry and are removed from server-side rendering, internal search and recommendation lists, public APIs, previews, downloads, and direct post access. Removed URLs return a permanent unavailable response and are marked not to be indexed or cached.

Records

We retain the report reference, received date, affected URLs and identifiers, evaluation outcome, action date, and verification result. These records are used to demonstrate handling of complaints and to detect repeated infringement patterns.

Repeat infringers

Repeated valid complaints associated with the same source, provider, account, creator identifier, or delivery path may result in wider suppression, disabling the affected provider integration, or termination of access where applicable. Evasion of an existing suppression is treated as an additional violation.
