This is my made-up character, Doodle. He’s an inspiring artist with a paintbrush that can paint things to life, but it's always with a stupid twist.

Drawing in Flash sucks, so I found a new way to deal with it. DON’T DRAW IN FLASH.

Go to an art program like Firealpaca. Draw your puppet with a square ink brush. Circles are crap. Make the background gray or any color. Copy all of it.

Past it into flash.

Select it.

Modify

Pick Bitmap

The settings look fine.

Sorry if image looks bad. I was using a screen recoarder and screenshot it. SHould have made the video size bigger.

And there.

Now just remove hte background

Make the symbols

and scale it down.

And start aniamting with your puppet. For hand drawn animtion... I like puppet animtion.
