Roles and Personalities

Gold: Team leader. Has a calm yet authoritative personality. Gives orders and follows Mr. Cross’s commands to the

letter.

Silver: Team explorer. Cold and straightforward when it comes to following orders or holding a conversation.

Lead: Assistant to the leader and second in command. Looks up to Gold and tries to be like him. Due to her young age, she’s not always taken seriously.

Rose: Team strategist. Intelligent and analytical, often seeking explanations or plans for every situation. Has a sense of humor and loves to dramatize events whenever possible.

Name: SilverDroid [Alias: Silver]

Details: The only surviving member of the TMAOR, now Mr. Cross’s right-hand man.

Race: Human-android

Weight: 75kg

Height: 1.70m

Age: Presumed to have been around 13 years old before being kidnapped and stripped of his memories as a normal child, later being turned into what he is now. At least 5 years have passed since that event.

Appearance: At first glance, he looks like an ordinary teenage boy. Gray, messy hair that appears dyed, a gray sweatshirt with no pockets, dark gray pants, and white shoes. The only odd detail is that his eyes are never visible.

Name: GoldenDroid [Alias: Gold]

Race: Human-android

Details: The leader of the Team of Multiversal Anomalous Objects Research [TMAOR]. Or at least, he used to be...

Height: 1.67m

Weight: 70kg

Age: Unlike Silver, an identification card was found at his kidnapping site, confirming that he was 14 years old at the time. Given how much time has passed since the event, it can be assumed that he would now be 19 years old.

Appearance: Appears to be a regular young man with naturally blonde, messy hair, a golden-yellow sweatshirt with no pockets, dark gray pants, and white sneakers. His eyes are also not visible.

Name: LeaDroid [Alias: Lead]

Race: Human-android

Details: Gold’s assistant and the first female member to join the TMAOR. (Quite surprising, honestly, since one might have thought Rose would’ve been the first.) She’s also the youngest of the team, though only by a small margin.

Height: 1.57m

Weight: 61kg

Age: Presumably 16 years old.

Appearance: She looks like a regular teenage girl, with messy bluish-gray hair (which doesn’t appear dyed), a sweatshirt of a matching bluish-gray tone, dark gray pants, and white sneakers. Her eyes, like the others’, are not visible.

Name: RoseGoldenDroid [Alias: Rose]

Race: Human-android

Details: Gold’s younger sister and the last member to join the TMAOR. (Surprisingly, since Lead was expected to be the last, given the family connection between Gold and Rose.)

Height: 1.60m

Weight: 65kg

Age: Presumably 17 years old, making her only a few months older than Lead.

Appearance: Hair of a rose-gold hue, matching her rose-gold sweatshirt with no pockets, gray pants, and white sneakers. Like the rest of the team, her eyes are not visible.

This team was dedicated to investigating anomalies that allowed travel, transportation, or communication between different dimensions, under the command of Mr. Cross. He knew that there was a smuggled interdimensional travel device hidden somewhere in Overcity (different from the one Gold uses) and sent the TMAOR to track it down and destroy it.

In episode 4 of EMDN, Nico receives the coordinates of where this device is located (from a mysterious and unknown source). He, along with Minino (and later Ian), set out to find it without knowing what it truly was. They climbed a mountain, entered a cave filled with traps, narrow passages, a minecart section, and a lake, until finally reaching a chest containing the device.

Unaware of what it was, Nico operated it, causing him, Minino, and Ian to be transported to Neowave, the dimension Minino originates from (something the TMAOR did not know). This triggered the TMAOR’s alarms, but also revealed the exact location of where the anomaly occurred prompting them to immediately investigate.

While Nico was still unconscious from the teleportation (his first time experiencing it), Ian who was somewhat used to teleportation was awake but frightened by the unknown environment. He decided to return using the device, unintentionally revealing his location to the TMAOR once again.

With that new position revealed, Gold ordered Silver to investigate the area and retrieve the device if found. His exact orders were:

“Silver, go investigate that new location. If you find the device, take it at all costs, find those who traveled, send them back, and destroy the device.”

When Silver encountered Ian, who was trying to figure out how to bring his friends back, he seized the device, knocked Ian out, and went looking for Nico and Minino.

Upon entering Neowave, he destroyed the device as soon as he arrived accidentally setting the restaurant where Nico, Minino, Minina, and Katy were located on fire. The others escaped, but the restaurant collapsed, leaving Nico, Katy, Minino, and Minina (though the latter two weren’t seen in the scene) unconscious.

Silver took advantage of their state, bringing them back using his own interdimensional travel device leaving Nico and Minino in front of their homes, and Katy at Nico’s house (since Silver had no idea where else to leave her).

After the series’ cancellation, Mr. Cross began searching for power sources for the Overcrystal and sent the TMAOR to various dimensions in search of someone compatible. However, he separated Silver from the rest of the team. His role as explorer made him more efficient alone, according to Cross.

For this very reason, Cross devised a plan to end up with Silver as his only subordinate and promote him to his right-hand man.

What he did was simple: he cut off all forms of communication with the others and disabled their interdimensional travel devices and voilà, the TMAOR was no more. Cross was left with only Silver, whom he considered to have the greatest potential and efficiency in finding someone capable of powering the Overcrystal.
