This is the third episode of Roasted Meatloaf, originally made in 2019 (the same year as Episode 2.) This animation is arguably a lot simpler than the previous two but it does try some new things.

One new thing was the introduction of Jeff, a character made out of text symbols, into the series. He existed as an idea I had before I started making this show, but this is his first appearance in an animated series and also the first time he had a voice (provided by me.) In lore, he is also sometimes referred to as "JJ", but that isn't established in this episode. Here, he is only called Jeff.

Another thing I did was experiment with mouth shapes. As this episode involves more dialogue than the previous two, I toyed around with giving my character a variety of mouth shapes as he spoke as opposed to just a simple few. His final line uses a set of mouth shapes I would start using as a standard in future episodes.

Not a lot goes on audio-wise in this episode, so editing things related to sound and music for copyright-related reasons wasn't really a big hassle. However, it was a bit difficult to adjust some things related to volume as some of the voice acting in the original was kind of quiet and a bit hard to hear at some volumes. I've done what I can to remedy that, though I can't really do much about the recordings quality-wise. It was grainy back then and it's still grainy now, perhaps a little more so due to weird quirks of re-rendering.

The credits don't include an "acknowledgements" section this time because this episode didn't take as much inspiration from anything in particular. That isn't to say it didn't take any inspiration from some things, but the overall plot wasn't strictly based on anything in particular.
