This film was shortlisted as one of the

Top 20 Finalists for Animahenasyon 2022.

It was nominated for Audience Choice Award,

Best Regional Entry, and Jury's Special Citation.

This film was also shortlisted for the

Curated Section of the 34th Gawad Alternatibo.

Recently, it won 3rd Best Film and was nominated for Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Culture-Sensitive Film at the CineChavacano Film Festival 2024.

This was my 4th year animated thesis film when I was graduating from BS New Media and Computer Animation at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University. I wanted to focus on Filipino mythology, familial love, and Zamboanga/Chavacano representation.

This film is dedicated to Lola Meding, Lolo Nard, Inay, Tatay, and our lolos and lolas whose universal love language is: food.
