Greetings to Newgrounds!

For the Christmas 2025 collection, I give you another Christmas Eve submission. Its audio is from "A Charlie Brown Christmas", the very first Peanuts TV special and easily one of the most famous animations of the franchise. In my opinion, no December is complete without watching that at least once, and over the course of my life I've seen it countless times. Here you'll find an animated reimagining of that I made for the special's 60th anniversary. It also is dedicated to the memory of Peter Robbins, the original voice actor for Charlie Brown who died in 2022. You'll hear him in this along with Tracy Stratford (also known as Tracy Shaw), the first voice for Lucy Van Pelt. Below is a clip I partially took this from:

Due to the use of copyrighted music from Vince Guaraldi for some of that, I unfortunately couldn't adapt the full scene here. Even without such concerns, doing all of the psychiatric booth dialogue there would've taken too long for me to finish in time for Christmas anyway. While it would've been nice to submit on December 9th when the Christmas special first aired on December 9, 1965, I quickly figured out as I went along how that was impractical. Oh well. Submitting on the day before Christmas still feels appropriate. Reviews are very much welcomed, and I hope you find my creation to be a nice holiday treat!
