Hey everyone, this was a project I had floating around for a while, i started fresh with new animation techniques, previously i was creating everything as PNG images and building puppets in OpenToonz.

If you have used this before you know its a massive headache, there is a lot of issues, including not being able to preview before you could render, or even not being able to render anything over 50 frames. Thus i took a leap of faith and learned how to us Moho!

This program has been a game changer, I'm glad i really knuckled down committed.

Anyway this project started as a pipe dream, i had wanted to get some funding from the Australian government to really create something special, unfortunately i didn't fit their criteria (shocker i know).

So once again, im on my own, but shit, i honestly loved this, i promised myself i wasn't going to make something with an huge story, but hell, i cant help myself!

The Island and the town of Eldridge is built around the U.S.S Eldridge, a ship that was used in the Philadelphia experiment, the island itself is inhabited by people from different timelines, all survivors and all without knowledge of how they got here, Chad from the mid 2000s, Dante from 1105, and Suzie from the far future.

Everything was built around the philosophies of Plato, mainly The Cave. not only does this humanise the past, present and future, but it tackles everything from who we are, what are we doing here, and what does this all mean.

Chad was a character I've always wanted to make, he essentially just me when im angry, which is why i enjoyed doing his voices so much! i wasn't sure using my normal voice would work as i had used them with previous characters and actually hated them.

Suzie was my attempt at actually doing a fun quirky robot character as ive always loved Gur (Invader Zim) and Clap trap.

she will be interesting going forth, i have some great ideas for her!

Dante was always such a fun character to create! im still honestly not 100% on the design, i tried different designs but nothing landed like this, its basic, i know.

Id love to hear some feed back, don't be shy, i appreciate that anyone has watched it, that's enough for me!

I do this stuff because i love it, i work all the time! im a qualified baker, but my dream has always been animation and writing, ill never stop, this is my heroine.
