Finally it's time!! After 2 years and a month of my life making this I finally finished it!

This is the first piece from my work in progress album, Cenz Cenz Club, with the help of Albert-Clamm.

Please consider like and subscribing... and if you want to leave a comment you wold help me! I suffered from severe burnout working on this and I need to know if you like it or not!

Ok... so: two years ago I made the first prototype of this song before a vacation.

I was ready to record the Part 1, but this one hanged around my Ableton for a while, until Albert and I decided to just finish it and use it to launch the project.

It was supposed to be a synth-pop piece, but in the end we opted for something different: a 70s-like philly-sound/soul song, mixed with modern synthpop/hip-hop sounds.

The fact I was studying and occasionally working did not help.

And changing it on the run wasn't exactly a clever idea because the project kept being slower and slower.

Then I recorded it on my Korg D-3200 multitrack, and since I never used it the process slowed down even more because I basically made 5 different mixes of it (and the full, original version is almost 10 minutes).

In the end... I must say I'm happy about it and Albert too. If it wasn't for the ridiculous amount of time we spent on it, probably I would have published something else in the meantime too.

But that's ok... we FINALLY did it!!!

The video itself was ideated and realized by me. I wanted it to be semi-animated, but I wasn't sure how to shoot it in the first place.

Then the ideas began rolling, I used my phone and a stand and I shot it in a week. I only had my old sister's room for the shooting, so I geniously covered all the pink walls with black nylon sheets.

Sadly I also had to color-correct everything because it was all to grey. But that's ok... it's a clearly home-made videoclip, the editing (for the split screens) and the animation brought away some time, but man if I'm happy about it!

If you're interested about the gear I used, I wrote them in the video itself! Everything was played, composed and recorded by me. Mixing was made by me and Albert. The animations and the video was made by me.

No AI of any kind was used.

Please... a lot of effort was put into this song, so remember to leave a like and subscribe! And feel free to leave a comment, your support and kind/unkind word means a lot to me!!!

Thank you for listening/watching... and have a nice day, friends! :)
