What does your anxiety look like?

This is the official teaser for LATCHERS, an indie 2D psychological horror project. The story follows a student who drifts into "The Vivid": a space where our heaviest internal burdens manifest as physical parasites.

Every single shot in this teaser was done solo and frame by frame. I used traditional 2D animation to capture a specific type of heavy, sluggish movement that reflects mental exhaustion and burnout. Most of the dream state visuals were inspired by old glitch art and retro tech aesthetics to keep the atmosphere as unsettling as possible.
