This is loosely based on me and my struggles (however, i am not making it too personal as i want this animation to be relatable). it focuses on a guy who thinks everyone around him hates him and sees that there is nothing good left. the water calls him and he jumps into the water to escape into a facade of feeling better. then after events (which i wont spoil!) happen, he gets out of the water and feels bad for everything, he reads a text on his phone and reassures himself that he can get better.

bare in mind that this is my first proper animation made using adobe animate (and i don't actually have any animation experience) so there is different art styles and forms all throughout the animation which may make things feel disconnected (i am working on it!). the photos in the background are taken by me, all work in this animation is made by me only.

lastly i hope you enjoy this, and i hope you come back to see it when it is done, i plan for this to be 3-4 minutes long and right now its 32 seconds. Thank you.
