Findora: The Final Gift, is a film that I’ve been working on since last year, but due to school coming back up I kept it on hiatus. Taking the capstone course was a perfect excuse to finish my project, and implement the new techniques that I’ve gained since. The narrative is based around this world of blob people living on a surface world, while tiny doll people lived in the underground void. Rich and the poor; a conflict as old as time. Due to the blobs' refusal to provide more of themselves, the dolls lived in horrible conditions, where they are expected to give more than the ones on the surface. That is until Blue arrives, helping the dolls build a better civilization. The other blobs (Red and Yellow), do not approve of this because that means they can’t hoard all the ‘gain’ in order to grow larger. To prevent Blue from proceeding, they brutally devour him. However, since they attacked another blob, that set a precedent. As a result, Red and Yellow fight each other to the death. Although Blue survived, huge chunks of him were taken away, leaving him and the doll people to feel hopeless. That was until Blue witnessed a bird flying in the sky, inspiring him to sacrifice himself to the doll people, so that they could finally be free from the depths of the underground.
