The rules were to tell a comprehensive story though a film that's only one minute long. and i chose animation. And i think i missed the comprehensive part lol.

it was very clumped together due to the 1 minute lock, but im half proud of how it came out.

This is guy actually won first place in my school county for a Technology Competition. I really don't like it. at all...it could've been better to be honest. but i know people love art period, So ill post what i made. I just used Rines Story from STS, a story me and my twin brother are writing. Here's the the context.

In this Animated Music Video, about loss and new beginnings, this will be almost storyboard like with a small hint of life. its about how rine and youth end up in somewhere entirely new. the video will be hand-drawn, and the characters will vary in color to showcase main feelings and emotions. mostly purple to show how privileged Rine's life was before the war. it will also feature an absence of faces to keep the simplicity. The music will be a somber opera like music. It's All surrounding the theme of loss.

let's be honest. This story wasn't made on the spot. But it was dumbed down in creation for this music video. It's a plot for something much larger that is currently being worked on. The reason I chose this story of mine was because of its symbolism for my personal life. Growing up me and my family were moving once every 2 years mostly during Halloween. Which led to us missing some pretty cool memories. Me and my twin brother were forced to make new friends over and over and this story kind of resembles that. Rine would be me, struggling with identity and just moving into high school, And G.Y would be my brother. Quiet, Smart. Etc. I know the loss of home more than anyone when it comes to this sort of stuff. That's why I believe this story will be great when others can relate. Even if they don't relate, It's still a pretty dang interesting story.
