In the forgotten suburbs of an unnamed Midwestern town, the tragic death of teenager Ethan Miller should have been the end of a lifetime of abuse, neglect, and cruelty.

It wasn't.

After a mysterious school fire claims Ethan’s life, disturbing sightings begin around the abandoned Miller property. Witnesses report a burned, canine-like figure stalking the woods. Forensic leaks uncover an impossible truth: Ethan’s remains appear fused with the corpse of a dog buried years before his death.

The entity becomes known as RottingBark.

Nearly a decade later, detective Lucy Hargrove and a small group of reluctant civilians uncover a nightmare hidden beneath noise complaints, abandoned homes, strange machinery, and sealed records. As they investigate the infamous property, they find themselves hunted by something that shouldn't exist—an intelligent predator born from fire, trauma, and a force that ignores the rules of biology, time, and death.

Blending psychological horror, creature horror, dark mystery, and brutal body horror, ROTTINGBARK is an upcoming animated series exploring abuse, corruption, identity, and what remains of a person after everything human has been stripped away.

Some fires don't end when the flames die.
