A month ago I finally rewatched Speed Racer (2008) and really enjoyed it. Since then, I've been delving a bit deeper into the franchise and I even got myself a Hot Wheels Mach 5

Well, I really liked the theme of Speed Racer X (1997) and decided to make a little animation based on it, as if it were an new intro. I made a mix of the three: the 60s anime, the 1997 anime, and the 2008 movie. The car is a mini redesign that kinda mixes all of the different Mach 5s, and the characters are mostly based on the 60s cartoon but somewhat adjusted as if it were a modern anime (or the most anime-like I can draw, haha)

Well, it took some days to make this, but here it is. I hope you like it.
