After working on shots for Unleashed ReAwakened in 2022 and Rayman Sings Sex Bomb ReAnimated in 2024 (I can’t upload my shot for the latter onto Newgrounds as it uses unlicensed music -_-;; ) I hadn’t animated anything in about a year due to life, mental health and whatnot. Realising this, decided I should continue to flex my animation muscles, using Rayman again! (cause he lives in my head rent-free :P )

The aim of this piece was to practice character acting and lip-syncing, and I think it was pretty successful in those areas. This was originally just meant to me a pencil test but I had the itch to ink and colour it so I just went along with that.

I took way too long to finish this thing, having started it in April 2025 and completing it this month (July 2026) Once again this was due to life and my mental health struggles getting in the way. For my next animation however, I'm gonna aim to keep at it and try not to let my anxiety and insecurities get in the way.

RoughAnimator - rough animation

TVPaint - inks, colours, shading, compositing, editing
