Over the last couple weeks, I've converted two scrapped scenes into an animatic. I've polished them up a little and added extra frames so the action is more readable, but otherwise the quality of the voice acting, writing and mixing has been unchanged and thus may have aged a little.

Originally there were four scenes of Building Competition. The two you see here and the two in the last movie. I initially wanted to animate all four scenes together but I was encouraged to cut it down to a minimum viable product for the sake of time. Ever since I started the animation phase on this project, I've been thinking of circling back to the first two scenes I boarded and fully animating them, but it's difficult for me to keep interest without overthinking.

I was also just generally busy in July and couldn't upload anything that month.

Scene 1 was the setup for the building competition(which would explain why we're viewing the characters' houses), alongside explaining why Kratos was hanging around with Alex. Relatively the least necessary scene, given how most viewers didn't seem to question it in the final animation.

Scene 2 was supposed to be a reference to one of POSTBOY's animations, with the background being more minimalist with pitch black darkness, and characters becoming a monochromatic blue in the dark. I hope I reuse that idea somewhere else.
