Hey everyone. After two failed attempts to submit an animated short to Hellavision Television for their biannual open calls for animation (I still helped on a friend's submission the second attempt), I finally got to something the third time around (with a generous extension)!

For this open call, Dance Everywhere, I was required to animate dancing in unconventional locations, so I decided to record a video of relatively famous B-boy Eddie Styles dancing and animate something from there. The problem is, I was torn between 2D rotoscoping his movements or converting them to 3D motion capture data, and by the time the deadline came around, I had already devoted too much effort to both approaches without fully committing to one. In the end, I decided to combine what I had into something somewhat usable. I apologize if it looks unrefined or unfinished, but I'm glad to at least be part of Hellavision for once and do something cool with a great breakdancer.
