The main video is finally out! Sorry to keep you all waiting an extra day. After a full year of production—where we were working on it almost every single day, and FH_KEviL_WenBoSt was practically working 24/7 during the final stretch—Episode 4 is finally complete.

Note: This animation contains some graphic wounds and depictions of violent action. If you feel uncomfortable, please exit in time. Also, as this is a fan-made work, please do not watch it with the expectation that it strictly follows the original canon.

After Reimu dealt with the two little devils and took a brief rest, she continued her mission: to find the mastermind behind the Scarlet Mist Incident—Remilia. But how could it be easy to get in touch with the boss of a faction? From this point on, fairies start to appear in more variants: there are those specializing in throwing knives, more elite-type big fairies, and the most difficult existence to deal with—Remilia's highest-ranking subordinate, the Head Maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, Sakuya Izayoi. She is currently the toughest enemy, and the battle against her takes up a significant portion of the animation.

Thank you so much for all your support for this animation.

See you all in the next episode, Episode 5.

Happy Madness Day 2026!

Behind the Scenes:

The production of this episode went through many difficulties, including but not limited to: the production software crashing, lighting effects exceeding the software's limits, excessive asset sizes making it difficult to export, and wasted production time due to my communication and handoff issues. My relationship with FH_KEviL_WenBoSt also got strained for a while, but fortunately, it didn't severely impact the production, and we managed to finish it before Madness Day ended. Actually, Episode 4 was originally planned to end at the 8-minute mark, but I got carried away making the scene of Reimu fighting Sakuya and added over 2 extra minutes. Luckily, it was completed in the end. The successful release wouldn't have been possible without FH's help; he only slept for 8 hours over these three days, spending the rest of the time producing and exporting. Huge thanks to him for his help. I might need to take a break for a while now. Thanks again for everyone's support.
