Author's notes:

This took a bit longer; roughly seven and a half weeks (pushing the envelope on the round time for the tourney). However, I was able to have fun with a lot more ideas and shots. The plot also took a turning point, as I was originally planning for My'augur's story to begin turning more towards ultimately a bittersweet ending. My opponent's character just had to be so unbelievably good that it might lead more to a "golden ending" (not bad, but I personally have trouble writing purely good endings).

Another fun tidbit was the deflating cultist was originally going to be a plot-point for the enemy-of-the-round like how the Mad Archer was for Round 2; a superpowered mimic. However, with the focus more on a cultist group in the setting and the overall pacing of the story, I couldn't feasibly fit it properly with my pace. So, the cultist is just structurally challenged. He's still cool though.
