Description
The Umibozu is a giant sea beast found all over the coasts of Japan. They were thought to cause terrible storms, drowning ships and sailors. It is often depicted as a large black mass, occasionally appearing vaguely human-like. It is also thought that they would use ladles to drown entire ships.
