In an attempt to banish Hank J. Wimbleton from the multiverse, A.A.H.W. scientists activate an experimental machine. However, the plan backfires, and three of the agency's agents—Vance, Clive, and Garry—accidentally end up crossing the portal, landing in an unknown dimension called Terranova.

Terranova is the complete opposite of Nevada: a peaceful place with blue skies, a bright sun, and a functional society of locals living in total normalcy. While anyone else would wish to stay in this paradise, for the agents, it is an existential nightmare. Their entire existence was programmed to fulfill a single task: stop Hank. With him nowhere to be found in this world, they have become completely obsolete and devoid of any purpose in life.

Determined to return to their gray purgatory to fulfill their mission, the three clones must find a way to survive in a peaceful society where weapons are useless, and discover how to escape the peace of Terranova to return to the war of Nevada.
