Orphic Strings is an original interpretation of the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. In the ancient myth, Eurydice, Orpheus’ wife, dies from a snake bite. Orpheus boldly descends to the Underworld to claim her. Orpheus charms Hades with his music, and the King of the Underworld restores Eurydice to life. In Orphic Strings, a dry well serves as a portal between dimensions, allowing the transcendent music to travel into the Underworld.
