Another feature-length improvised animated comedy by DrawBomb (me and Brandon).

Made for Joel Haver's The Academy of Movies Shot During the Oscars in 2024.

This got so down to the wire.

The movie had to be done by Sunday that year to qualify. On Wednesday, the deadline for a project we were already working on got pushed back. The next day, we worked on assets. That Friday, after Brandon toiled on art all day, we gathered a crew and recorded this movie in one 3-hour session using PNGTuber puppets (a software called HONK!). On Saturday, Ian spent all day editing.

Here is the result.

The original version used a song from Constrobuz called "Barter Faire". I figured it would be fine to use since he's otherwise deleted it off the Internet. I have sloppily edited it out of the version for Newgrounds, however, because I figure Youtube can handle the smoke, but I don't want to risk Newgrounds having to deal with any potential copyright thing.

We are very fortunate to have friends who will put up with us asking them to record these kinds of videos with us.
