Film Description: Believed to be an overactive imagination, Alex's ability to see "beyond reality" was frowned upon as they became older. When Alex returns for Autumn break one year, they attempt to reconnect with that ability. They bring their oldest stuffed animal Shmeb along, and the two push Freeality further than it's ever gone.

Context: This is my senior thesis that got delayed by a year due to the COVID pandemic. In the following years after the initial release, I had a falling out with the (main) friends I'd dedicated it to, and wanted nothing to do with it afterward. It still hurts to look at, but I've decided that this is my only major project that I can currently upload here since there's no copyrighted music, and I want to have an animation on here that is better than the previous ones. It got a good reception whenever I submitted it to film festivals, so I know there's something here worth uploading. There is a sequel planned.

As a side note, just because this was brought up a lot while I was making this: Yes. I was obviously inspired by Steven Universe, however, this was in production before SU Future came out, so the jacket design was a complete coincidence. I made the design back in 2018 for a concept art class (sure the star in general is there, but it's easy to animate).

Other inspirations include: Paranoia Agent, Ed, Edd n Eddy, The Odd Hustle by Cody Collins, Adventure Time, Get Out (2017) and this meme.
