Rating Details

Yoshinobu Nishizaki conceived the idea in 1973 and, in partnership with Leiji Matsumoto, developed a manga between 1974 and 1975. I decided to recreate the opening scene of the subsequent 26-episode anime series using 3D SFM; the project took one week to complete. I hope you enjoy it.

I originally published this exclusively for YouTube, but since it didn't get many views (163 views in one day), I decided to share it here as well. Feel free to take a look here if you'd like.

As a major future project, I plan to create models from the Captain Harlock seriesn, including characters and ships and recreate the opening sequence.
