Ingredients:
20 oz smoked bacon (not Maple) piece cut into ½ inch (Mmm Bacon)
4 tbsp.flour soup
3 Lbs of beef cubes (the beautiful large pieces)
1 ½ tsp. Salt soup
2 tbsp. tablespoons freshly ground pepper
4 tbsp. Olive oil extra virgin
1BIG red onion cut into pieces not too small, not too large (or 2 small to medium size onions)
500g brown mushrooms or portobello cut in two or in pieces for the portobello
2 large carrots, peeled and sliced (not too small!)
4 stalks celery, chopped
8 garlic cloves, chopped
4 large potatoes, peeled, cut into pieces
2 tbsp. Soup molasses
1 tsp. Tea caraway seeds
1 tsp. Hickory Smoked Paprika tea
2 tbsp. Mustard seeds
Salt and pepper to taste
682 ml of Dark beer of your choice
1 Liter of beef broth !!!
Shallots chopped for topping
