I'll explain the steps ?
1. Sketch, very nice, very readable as u can see
2. Clean lineart, for precision (then I learned the canvas size was too small for precision ?) 3. Flat colors
4. Shading, rendering. Also changed the shape of the eyes bc it looked wrong
5. Got rid of lineart but had to make it work..... Somehow. Very slow process
6. Monk can't have an axe!!! Idk why I thought it was okay
7. Knife is okay. Monk has to defend himself!
8. Clean it. Out!
9. Mysterious light makes an appearance
10. Thoben! Fully rendered! Look at u gorgeous!
11/12. shadow. Bc he ain't floating in the air
13. Look in the eyes! Just gave him a soul!
14. Sign it! Voila!
