Not that I support domestic abuse or anything but how can I make the attacks look more violent? If I'm being honest, his attacks look somewhat weak. If anyone got some tips let me know.

Its difficult to build characters like him. It's simple hard to find a reason for his character and actions. Each reason that I can come up with doesn't seem like enough but then again domestic abuse does happen for the most stupid of reasons in the real world too. So why does he beat her up? Probably because some extreme anger issues, perhaps he just came from work very irritated and the slightest inconvenience will tick him off and he will just take his anger on his wife. Does he even love her? Well, I don't think so. I have this feeling that he only married her to stick it to his twin brother as he was too shy to ask her out sooner. Perhaps there was a lot of resentment so this guy wanted at least one thing that his brother didn't or couldn't have. Overall there are bad decisions everywhere.
