"Poyo!"

Here's something that I haven't done in a while: Nintendo fanart! (or rather animation loop) I remember drawing so much art of Pikachu, Kirby, Mario, and Yoshi back then, since I loved playing Smash Bros. Melee. They were cute, and also so easy to draw, since I wasn't a good artist back then. I also remember thinking how all the Smash Bros. characters could live together, and making a world for them. I drew maps of where they could live and what these places would look like, and I just found it so cool. Plus, I really wanted to be as good as my siblings at drawing (though I have lots of catching up to do even today).

Also, Nintendo fan animations in general were big back then (or at least I watched a lot of them). I loved seeing what other people could create using Nintendo characters, and the results are quite different, yet exuded the same playful charm that makes me still play Nintendo games (but screw Nintendo though (also screw you Griggle for disincentivizing animations in your algorithm)).

Overall, I just wanted to express how much Nintendo fan art has initially inspired me as an artist. It's just fun contributing to all of the other great fan animations and art for Nintendo back then.
