Been on an original charcater content kick lately. There's no vocal lines in this animation. This is what i've been working on all June.

If you do want to know the story basically:

Rastor (Old goat man) is the leader of the town and Nybal (green main character) is the choosen guardian. The island they live on is kept healthy and alive by the crystal core of the world. Crystals in my world are powerful sources of energy that can be absored, distributed or used to destory even the most powerful of deities.

Rastor for decades had been planning to take the crystals for himself, by doing that it can kill all of the island's life, but would make him one of the most powerful beings to exist. Nybal as the guardian is the only person on the island who can communicate with the other crystal guardian and visit the heart of the island's cavern through a physical and mental state. Due to the status of both, Nybal must obey Rastor's commands to protect their town and the people of the island.

Nybal was tricked by Rastor, he had a tenebrous crystal which he used to suck out the darkness/shadow out of Nybal. Creating a new shadow enitity of Nybal known as Labyn (purple dude). Because it is still technially him, the role of guardian still belongs to even that of Labyn. Rastor uses Labyn against his will to enter the heart of the island and the danger of this plan had Nybal alert Cyran (the deer guardian).

The rest of it is more symbolic than literal, but yeah.

Oh yeah btw because Labyn is Nybal's shadow the only way to kill him is to kill Nybal.

Note: Tenebrous are ancient creatures created by the darkness in their hearts, if someone experiences uncontrollable amounts of negative emotions to where it eventually engulf the person then they turn into a pure being of darkness knonw as a tenebrous. Mainly characterized by black eyes, spikes, dull or grey colors, impulsive behavior, void of light, uncontrolable anger. These creatures live in misery and constant emotional pain if not reformed. Tenebrous and their opposing speices Luminous each had their own kinds of crystals.
