The Saci - Animated Short Film (2024)E

Rating Details

Hi! This was my first *big* animation project, a short film I've worked on for 9 months as my Final Major Project at uni! The animation was done in Krita (with occasional tweaks made in After Effects), edited through Premiere Pro, and finalised at the end of May this year (miraculously).

(Based on the iconic character from Brazilian folklore of the same name)

"A magical troublemaker known as the Saci, encountering an animal being held hostage, pulls maniacal pranks on her kidnapper"

I couldn't have completed this film without the incredible support from my friends, family and tutors. If you guys are reading this, y'all are the best! I hope you enjoy the film as much as I have studying about the Saci and his various interpretations in movies, shows and books, as preparation for adapting such a fun character and his comedic antics in this take.
