This was my finial project for my 2D design class. We had to make a stopmotion or traditionally animated film that's at least 1 min long. I made it to the 1 min mark, but unfortunately I couldn't finish the story as I have storyboarded a good 2 or 3 mins, and I had very little time to even make it to the 1 min mark. I'm not really happy with this animation since I had very little time to work on this, and it felt weird, like not my usual brand of weird. Regardless though I was encouraged by my professors and fellow students to post this here.

Maybe I'll remake it and actually finish it someday, but I'll do everything digitally.

That being said here's some info about it. The story (or what little about it) is based off a weird dream I had of some flower guy finding a dead body with no head and werid shit happens. For those wondering why there's live action segments I had parts of my dream that were super realistic and I wanted to capture those vibes. I recorded myself and one of my sister doing these scenes.

That being said there's not much else to talk about. Again sorry for the very rough quality. I wished I had more time to actually make something cool out of this. And sorry for the weird aspect ratios througout the video, turns out my phone sucks at taking pictures. But anyways, I guess this is technically my first student film which feels surreal even though the class I made this for is not an Animation class. But anyways I promise I'll make some decent animations soon now that I got this terrible beast out of the way.
