Grim Cutie is the most special project I have ever made. Grim was conceived originally as a cgi project. I wanted a cute character I could put next to everyday objects for scale so I could practice my compositing skills. The character was too cute but I had moved to a different goal with CG. I think grim is perfect for stop motion because of his scale. I can make him look small with real world props but can create wild worlds for him using. Grim is about 2.5 inches tall. In this set, he moves by blocking the back armature with the large scale grass and a hole in the peg board anchored down with weight. His hands and head are magnet attached. The mouths are cg. Excited to do more.
