Rating Details

Life of Phi is an animated mostly faithful retelling and expansion of the story of Phi, the toxic slime who we know as the mascot of the streamer called Phisnom. Phi was originally designed by StupidButterfly.

Phi was once a security guard working in a laboratory until "something happened in that laboratory that caused the entire personnel to be consumed by a weird substance." Being the sole survivor, Phi makes it their slow but sure life mission to see what else they can uncover about the Substance and if there's any way they can utilize it.

This is the first part of what is to be developed into a full-length film, which will be released in about six parts as they are completed before its full release. I originally did this as a sort of "proof of concept" if you will, and now I am committed to it. I created the backgrounds, animation, sfx, soundtrack and voice acting, with the exception of some sfx being sampled from Phisnom's videos (i.e. the screaming.)

Part One was originally released on August 25th, 2024 on YouTube. You can watch the original release over there too!

OBVIOUS BUT OBLIGATORY DISCLAIMER: This is a fan work and is non-canonical.

P.S. The genre is marked as drama because I find my work quite campy lol
