After navigating through a portion of the wasteland, Bob found himself unable to progress due to an unclimbable blockage in his path home. Left with little other options, Bob climbs into the caved in remains of a trench system in hopes of finding an opening leading around his path.

When a Blightian dies, it's body releases a chemical called "Cinder." On it's own, it's just a somewhat toxic irritating chemical that discourages touching dead bodies that have been decomposing. However, in great mass, such as in warzone or slaughter, Cinder can accumulate upon corpses to such a degree that it revives the dead, as Cindermen.

These dead, do not enjoy anything anymore. Just their sole purpose that they originally set for themselves in life. Lesser ones are feral and can only think on the belief that human flesh will undo their condition. While greater Cindermen can only think about their regret and failed goal in life, such as killing someone they hated in a war they were fighting, for example.
