Sim Card Removal Pixilation Stop Motion Animation (2016) HD is a unique experimental short film inspired by the award-winning stop motion animator PES, combining action with surreal, abstract creativity. This 2016 stop motion project uses pixilation, a technique where I animated myself frame by frame, along with everyday objects animated showing how to remove a SIM card from an iPhone 6. Shot with a Canon EOS Rebel T5 before I had to part with it, this animation blends crude but imaginative stop motion with quirky stock sound effects from iMovie, Final Cut Pro, and freesound.org. While early in my journey as a stop motion animator, this short captures my passion for DIY filmmaking, experimental animation, and learning the craft of stop motion through playful, handmade storytelling. Fans of pixilation, PES-inspired shorts, and indie animation will enjoy this creative piece of my journey creating stop motion animation.
