This is the rough version of my first full length stop-motion cartoon called The Adventures of the haZ girL. This is part one of the first episode: Too Many Flowers. It shows scenes 1 through 12 (possibly 2 or 3 more parts to go). Thought I would post my progress on Newgrounds.

A few things I need to work on with this rough cut. I think the animation is pretty good, I could colour edit a few frames a bit better I think but that's about it. I need to re-record the sound though, obviously this is just a demo version or raw recording (can you hear the washing machine going off in the backgrounD? lol!)- however I think it does add something to the quirky nature. Please, any feed back/constructive criticism, advice etc would be much appreciated 🙏🏼❤️.

And I think I'd like slightly more differentiation between Mazie & the narrators commentary but not a lot as it is meant to be a bit trippy & child like (simple and not super defined). I would also like to add some ambient nature sounds, birds chirping, grass whooshing, stuff like that. The volume in general needs to be altered too.

Lighting is probably my biggest issue with taking the stop-motion photos. It seems to change in every shot. That last scene probably has the best lighting even though there is still 2 or so frames where the colour was completely different and I had to edit it as close to the others as possible. I even shot that scene with all the curtains closed & just using my ring light but the lighting still bounces around in every photo. I'm working on it.. All in all I'm super pleased about how the animation turned out. ⭐️🙄🌈
