Battle For The Video Game Episode 4 Who Sabotaged My Food

🟢 "Animation." The early morning sun glistened over the ruined coastline, casting golden light across the broken remnants of a once-thriving boardwalk. Now, it was a peaceful training ground. Sawsan Vix, a sleek, mute mutant fox girl, stretched on the sand with perfect precision. Her sporty, skin-tight workout gear clung to her fur, designed for flexibility and speed. Each movement was fluid—controlled kicks, deep lunges, and sharp flips that kicked up clouds of sand. Strapped to her waist was a patched-up cassette player, humming with life. “Take on meee… take me onnn…” The warm fuzz of 80s synth filled her ears through oversized headphones—one of the few gifts she ever received, and from someone who somehow always made her tail flick: Baskal, the gruff, scarred human bounty hunter. He found the tape in a forgotten music store buried beneath rubble and dust, wrapped it with some wire, and gave it to her without much ceremony. She'd smiled—not that he saw. Now, every beat made her bounce a little more as she jogged along the shore. She stopped, posed like she was in a cheesy dance workout video, and struck a thumbs-up toward the ruins behind her, just in case Baskal was watching from the cliffs. Her sharp eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief. No words. Just music, motion, and the sound of waves. In the silence of a broken world, Sawsan Vix made her own rhythm. 🌟 Check out my active sites: https://beacons.ai/nafyo

Perception is a very specific phenomenon...

Perception is a truly peculiar phenomenon. If a person sees something on a screen - say, water droplets falling onto flowers - they naturally associate it with rain and assume that it is indeed raining (even though rain might have nothing to do with it - who knows?..). This is the "first impression effect": - something that momentarily clouds our vision, leading us to realize that behind an act which initially appears to be mere mischief, there actually lie noble intentions - an attempt to transform this gloomy, gray world using something seemingly harmless... But to understand this, one must see... -Ivan

I was originally going to upload this pilot on Pico Day this year, but it was difficult

https://youtu.be/lciziDZi7uY?si=_i6Z5WnFcHP62vzNI was originally going to upload this pilot on pico day

but I had a lot of problems that day and couldn't upload it, even though I would have liked to. It's my first time uploading something to Newgrounds. Another point to mention is that I had to use AI for the voices. I didn't really like using it, but I speak English fluently, so I had to do that. The result is kind of rough, to be honest. Anyway, happy Pico Day and happy (super belated) birthday, Tom! :) And here's the original Spanish version.

Nevermind, he just made an account and uploaded the song in the video. Check it out if you wanna, it's pretty damn good! Also, please excuse the lack of lip-movement in the first shot; I made a gif where the character's lips repeatedly opened and closed and Microsoft Clipchamp, being a Microsoft product, just refused to render it correctly. Also also, the 3D sun at the beginning was done by me making a yellow square with a tiny face on it in MS Paint, then going to www.3dgifmaker.com and ticking the option to make the 3d object a sphere, then slowing the gif down and bringing the FPS rate to the absolute max, then ticking the "Trippy" filter to make it look less trippy (lel), before finally making it double-speed in Clipchamp because the sun's face didn't spin into front-view enough times. The corona was done in Clipchamp through the "blur" and "kaleidoscope" filter with half-opacity, with the kaleidoscope being lowest in the "segments" at max speed. ̶A̶l̶s̶o̶ ̶a̶l̶s̶o̶ ̶a̶l̶s̶o̶,̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶f̶r̶i̶e̶n̶d̶ ̶t̶o̶l̶d̶ ̶m̶e̶ ̶b̶e̶f̶o̶r̶e̶ ̶I̶ ̶c̶h̶o̶s̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶u̶p̶l̶o̶a̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶v̶i̶d̶e̶o̶ ̶(̶t̶h̶r̶o̶u̶g̶h̶ ̶D̶i̶s̶c̶o̶r̶d̶ ̶D̶M̶s̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶c̶o̶u̶r̶s̶e̶)̶:̶ ̶"̶o̶f̶c̶ ̶u̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶u̶p̶l̶o̶a̶d̶ ̶i̶t̶,̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶M̶A̶D̶E̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶a̶n̶i̶m̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶i̶d̶m̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶u̶s̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶s̶o̶n̶g̶ ̶l̶o̶l̶"̶ ̶-̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶a̶l̶s̶o̶ ̶"̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶c̶u̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶f̶ ̶a̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶e̶n̶d̶ ̶w̶a̶s̶ ̶v̶e̶r̶y̶ ̶f̶u̶n̶n̶y̶"̶ ̶(̶s̶p̶o̶i̶l̶e̶r̶s̶ ̶b̶y̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶w̶a̶y̶)̶.̶ ̶I̶ ̶p̶r̶o̶b̶a̶b̶l̶y̶ ̶s̶h̶o̶u̶l̶d̶'̶v̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶l̶d̶ ̶h̶i̶m̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶m̶a̶k̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶N̶e̶w̶g̶r̶o̶u̶n̶d̶s̶ ̶a̶c̶c̶o̶u̶n̶t̶ ̶b̶e̶f̶o̶r̶e̶ ̶u̶p̶l̶o̶a̶d̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶v̶i̶d̶e̶o̶ ̶s̶o̶ ̶h̶e̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶a̶c̶t̶u̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶s̶h̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶w̶h̶o̶l̶e̶ ̶s̶o̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶i̶r̶s̶t̶ ̶1̶0̶ ̶s̶e̶c̶o̶n̶d̶s̶,̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶s̶t̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶-̶ ̶b̶e̶t̶t̶e̶r̶ ̶s̶a̶f̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶n̶ ̶s̶o̶r̶r̶y̶! I don't know if I want to fully explain what it's about. It's very self-indulgent, and I wrote it for myself. Writing this song has healed me, because I was able to understand negative feelings and grow from it. Interpret it however you'd like! I adore GUMI and I am so glad I got to use her. Thank you for watching and listening, I am so happy. EDIT: This song is very loosely related to MINIMUM RAGE and REGRET ROCK. It's a contained story about this character, though (and a personal song to me). I think very highly of all of these songs and I was so happy to include them. I LOVE MUSIC AND I LOVE GUMI!!! This is an animated short based on a fan art comic I made in the early 2000s. I was speculating on how the Pain elemental would gain the ability to spit lost souls, then I noticed there were these skulls and heads impaled on poles, and could be spotted in some levels of the game. The original sprites were gorier, so for this animation I drew clean skulls instead. I’m not updated on the current game lore, so I don’t know if an official explanation for his abilities has been added yet.--------------------------------------------About the animation: It took me more than expected...I was working it by bits during “free time”,I learned a lot!Planning and setting the scenes was easy, it was the inbetweening and clean up process that ate up most of the time X_X, so much that I constantly delayed the video release...and I did cut a lot of corners X_X. I’m not quite satisfied with the flames on the lost souls... I’ll consider new techniques for future animations. I used Clip Studio, Videopad, BlastFX, Audacity,PD howler was used for the creation of some of the mountains, other bits of the background are actual photos of mountains and clouds, and I also drew and painted some of the sky and the floor traditionally with colored pencil and gouache.I used some sound effects from the original game, I used some of the clips to convey the demons’ different emotions (even though they weren’t lore accurate and were originally assigned to different demons) I edited the speed on some of them for extra comedic effects, and some others were made by me (the white noise for “the Mars ambience” which is just a recording of a spinning fan in slow motion, the cracking of the skulls which are originally pecans being crushed, wheezing and sputter sounds, and a frog squishy toy) I crammed as much as I could, and I still have a lot to learn XD. Hopefully it’s a watchable story for you!
