A celestial event meets a solitary city dweller in a mystical animated short film.

A celestial event meets a solitary city dweller, in a contemplative and cinematic visual poem. A girl finds a roadside shrine dedicated to a shepherdess, while a meteor flies over the city. Be warned of the sonic boom. An Independent and hand crafted animated short film, with an original score, by Auteur Film Maker, Aria Reap, for the Circumnavigate the Abyss animated series. No generative AI was used in the production of this film. This video's final render was on 25 August 2026. First published on 25 August 2026. © 2026 Aria Reap. Circumnavigate the Abyss. A second teaser trailer for Location One!

'Location One' is an original, 35-minute long, fully animated pilot, written and animated entirely by one person (me, Virlkor). -- They came here to give others a second chance at life. At Location One, donors undergo repeated organ extractions, their bodies regenerating each time. In return, they're given purpose, shelter, and a place to belong. But when two donors, Karen and Ivana, begin questioning the truth behind the facility, they uncover something far larger than either of them could have imagined. -- If you enjoyed the trailer, please consider following the project's development and the release of the full pilot later this year! Sharing or commenting is also appreciated! Thank you so so so much for watching and supporting my silly little project that I've been animating for two years! My silly little animated show about existential dread and organ harvesting... My poor little Karen and Ivana, my poor little organ donors ♡ -- Some more information: Genres: Biopunk, Sci-fi, Dystopian Animator and writer: Virlkor The full pilot will have voice acting!!!(The subtitles in this teaser are just a placeholder for now.)So...If you'd like to be a voice actor for this, then please keep an eye out for when I upload the casting call on my YouTube channel in about two months! All of the animation is about 90% complete so far!! I'm so excited to be so close to finishing and releasing Location One's pilot episode!! I'm hoping to release the whole pilot late this year!! This is an animated short for my upcoming existential animated horror series: The Testing Zone. I released this short on my YouTube channel months ago, but since I got my NG account back, I decided to upload an improved version onto here! SOMNIPHOBIA

A short sci-fi animation I created for my animation exam

Alan, a shy teenager, hurts himself in an accident while working on electronics. Instead of flesh and bones, he finds metal and wires under his skin. Confused and scared, he goes home to find his mother who reveals to him who they really are. This was my animation project for the class I'm taking and also my first really fleshed out animation. This is also where I got the idea for my OCs. I want to continue this story as a comic so stay tuned if you're interested.

A rock, that talks! How whimsical! What on Earth would it say?

This is the beginning of a series I have planned. The Rock itself is hand-drawn, and the visual effect of its facial orifices glowing when it talks was manually edited with key frames using a light ray effect in Final Cut Express. The background landscapes are my photography, and the fire animations were made in Blender. I also did the sound design, music, and voice acting.

NOTE: THIS IS A TEASER! YOU WILL ONLY BE LOOKING AT THE FIRST SCENE OF THE ACTUAL EPISODE, WHICH COMES OUT IN ABOUT A FEW MONTHS! In the debut episode of Birota Est Moenia, Velo, Ima, and Youls attempt the impossible: interviewing a ghost for life advice. Things spiral into regret almost instantly. What begins as a dumb question about the afterlife ends with existential dread, cold pizza trauma, and three oval-shaped idiots questioning why they exist at all. Segments this episode include:

Main Topic: The trio summons a ghost and ask him about life’s big questions. Spoiler: the answer is “leftovers.”

Breaking News: Newsman Andrew Porter reports on clouds suing humanity for defamation.

Quiz Time: The trio hosts Guess That Corpse Age! (this was definitely a mistake).

Order!: A courtroom case where someone sues for “emotional damage” caused by ghost trauma. Justice is not served.

Key Moments:

Velo burns his tongue on a servo sausage roll.

Ima admits to eating two Doritos as “breakfast.”

Youls feeds a stray dog that promptly bites him.

The ghost flips them off before disappearing forever.

Court rules that “life itself is emotional damage.”

Closing line: “Episode is over. Leave.”

Vibe Check:

Absurdist dark comedy

Nihilistic but silly

Feels like a podcast, but it isn’t

Made to confuse you on purpose

Disclaimer:Do not use this episode as actual life advice. Or any advice. Especially not from ghosts.
