Animation loop of my character, Neko Riddles for my stream intro

THe intro animation for my stream featuring my VTuber, Neko Riddles. Based on the music video for AnythingBecomeMoe's song YARARARA. The individual frames of animation were the easy part, it was trying to edit together the moving backgrounds and layers of parallax without animation software that did me in on this one. Left purposefully silent since background music is usually played on top of it.

Nocteon is a planet bathed in eternal night skies with ruins of a long forgotten civilization scattered through its valleys. Somehow, the flora of this planet is sustained well with its absence of a sun, yet despite this wonder, whatever intelligent life had lived here has since moved on. As a Pathfinder, it was once your goal to survey planets of interest like this. However, since the 'decommission of service' these kind of planets always seem to find their way to your travels. A video game concept I dreamed of creating one day, where the main character embarks on a journey of a cosmic scale! Exploring many crazy and impossible worlds, running on cosmic roads connected to an infinite sky! / This is the second scene for my conceptual project "RAIDHO". It was created using Blender for blocking out shapes and perspective, Procreate for the illustration and Adobe After Effects for a simple parallax animation.

Waking up trashed and fatally damaged in a world he doesn’t recognise. ‘Sonar’ has lost his memories of the events prior, with only an inner voice that's not his own, guiding him to a path of recovery and answers. RAIDHO - Derived from the Proto-Germanic word ‘raido’, representing the concept of journey and travel in Norse mythology. The symbol of cosmic order and the interconnectedness of the universe.A video game concept I dreamed of creating one day, where the main character embarks on a journey of a cosmic scale! 【Spore MMD】MOD Showcase: サンドリヨン / Cendrillon - ft. Satari & Pyrotarim

Disclaimer: "EA is gonna be owned by the Saudi Arabia government, who has a track record of modern slavery, genocide and human rights violation. Do not purchase Spore from places that return revenue to it. Obtain Spore through other ways. As usual, this is an unedited real-time in-game Spore footage, include screen filter, title card and subtitles." Hewwwoooo! Sorry I disappeared for a while! I was working on different material shaders that can be used in Spore! And here you can see them in action! This is the Parallax Occlusion Mapping (POM) used for the bottom windows, and the translucence volumetric light beams! The dance today is performed by my 2 favorite OCs, Satari and Pyrotarim! I did some changes to Satari to fix his hair and make his mouth and face moveable, while Pyrotarim got a complete remake as his model was quite outdated lol. Cendrillon does have a lot of weird jumps and unfortunately sometimes desync with the camera. Took me quite a bit to get this video lol. Overall this turned out a lot better than I expected and I'm really happy with the results so tell me what you think in the comments! 【Spore MMD】Cendrillon ft. Satari & Pyrotarim

I turned my "Starting Soon" into a video game attract screen.

When you're firing up a Twitch stream it's a good idea to give the internet 10 or even 15 minutes to send out push notifications, do API handshakes, get a little coffee at the deli down the street, and whatever else the tiny gnomes inside the tubes have to do to get everything going. I decided to flesh out that period with some animation. The original clip of riding the elevator was originally inspired by playing a lot of Metal Gear Solid. It's all Aseprite work, and consists of a couple of very slowly moving sprites above and below my little vtuber mascot moving in parallax. I could probably stand to open it back up and flesh out the city/ mirror the statue of liberty which was originally drawn from memory. Still, I think it has a charm through the flaws. Giving the Statue of Liberty a giant gun and turning it into an apparent villain was a really funny bit back when I started using it as an aesthetic, but now I feel like it's hitting hard. Still good, but different reasons. I used Aseprite, Blender, and Spritemancer to pull it together. Aseprite was the heaving bulk of the work. Organizing the animation chunks and even pulling together the final animation. Spritemancer was used to generate the smoke effects in the gunshot segment, and I fully modeled that gun before rotoscoping it in Aseprite to maintain an aesthetic. I even went to the trouble of making the barrel automatically camber up just a little bit when the slide goes back. The turnarounds and final sequence with the Statue of Liberty are using freely available 3D models that were also rendered in blender and palletized in Aseprite. I feel like I stuck close to the ethos of making something like this for a DOS game without being shackled to technical limitations that only the turbo-est of nerds would ever appreciate. The soundtrack is a modified version of the intro track to "Eye of the Commando" titled "Prelude to Freedom". It was provided directly from the musician and I'm using it with full permission. Eye of the Commando is, unrelatedly, an absolute banger of a game that you're missing out on if you haven't seen yet. https://belthesar.bandcamp.com/album/eye-of-the-commando-original-soundtrackhttps://store.steampowered.com/app/3016480/Eye_of_the_Commando/http://twitch.tv/wobblypython

It is complete, at last! After weeks of working on this track + animation, and several render attempts, I finally consider this animation to be complete. Megalopolis, The next installment in the Welkin universe. With full animation and pixel art by yours truly. Took me forever to finish, but I'm really happy with how it turned out :DI spent ages on all the little details, so I really hope the dedication shows.I'm starting to transition into less "music video" and more actual full animations, and having a blast doing it!
