Painter's Paradise

A short hand drawn animation of Bendy the Ink Demon slashing the viewer.

In June 2025, I asked a good friend of mine within the Discord Application. Of what I can animate for them. And they literally told me."You can try making bendy in his monster tall form changing his arm to be shifted into a blade, a crescent moon shaped blade as he slices forward for fun." And over the course of a year, (Because of other art projects, Real life activities, and procrastination.) I had created 24 key-frame sketches of this idea within a portable hand held drawing booklet. Drawing 3 centimeter boarders on the edges of the papers help keep the whole project together. Using a desktop printer/scanner machine I cleaned up the sketches a little bit within Adobe Photoshop Elements. And then transferred said sketches into Adobe Flash Professional: Creative Suite 5.5 (I like old school Adobe programing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.) And I am keeping my custom logo on the left side to show who made this animation. Once all the frames are put together and timed to the best that I can think of placing... Here we are!

Ink Demon and his Scythe.

Experimental paper animation technique stop-frame

Second Video after Peace, using clips I made as a proof-of-concept idea for another music video (which is about to come out as of Sept 2025) using the same(ish) animation photo&paper technique. Revolving around feelings of routine, work, and some of the isolation that can come from living in cities. Trivia: This videos is in black & white because my partner and I broke up right after my graduating of university, and took their colour printer, so the black & white look not only reflects my emotional state around that time, but also the fact I just had the toner printer.

A little animation to show my fun experience with the sonic games

Before it gets pointed out yes I forgot the buckles on his shoes, shhhh. I know I've mixed it up with Metal Harbor and SA1 cover but I just prefer how that one looks 💔 This was a fun way for me to try hybridising my workflow. I used a mix of hand drawn animation and rigs here to save some time and I think it worked out pretty great, a lot of it only ended up going into backgrounds but it was super helpful. I started this back in January but naturally work and life got in the way. I had to redo a bunch of shots when I got back to it cause they had some STANK drawings in there, happy with how its turned out and I hope you guys enjoy! I have some more ideas for shorts and the time to work on them again now so hopefully there'll be some more coming soon. Here's an example of how I improved in the last few months :P

PRINTER PROBLEMS (REANIMATED CLIP!)

Heart of Gold is a short computer-generated animation in which the general concept proves one has a heart of gold. The piece symbolically explores how one can change for the better good. I like to represent this video with myself, and the belief of what others can achieve if they try. People of today should be driven with kindness, and pay that kindness forward, to bring others happiness, just cause. The rag man, driven by greed, sees the object shelter and projects this object with a sense of care, although it is projected by a gold covering, this object would have left the object behind, or thrown it away, but instead chose not to. Throughout the animation, the body of the rags symbolizes the people of today. On the inside and out, the body of rags is seen, in a way, hideous. The rags hide what's hidden beneath, showing mystery towards the character. The rags are driven by greed and power, seeing the heart of gold shine and glow, tempted the rag to journey out and take the heart of gold as a source of greed and power. However, the tunnel of darkness sets out to test the rag for a heart of gold, metaphorically. This computer-generated animation was rendered and put together using Maya 3D Software, Natron and Adobe aftereffects. The character was created using Zbrush, and then visually textured using Adobe 3D substance painter. Altogether, the animation took at most a week and a half to create, with over 1000 images to create this simple video.

(Gift Animation) - Birch Tree View

A little plush elf stumbles uppon an interesting gift

A plush Christmas elf stands at the foot of a large mound of coal on a north poll worksite, wearing a red pleated skirt, pointed red Santa hat, green top, and black and white striped thigh-high socks. She is confused to see a gift among the coals. The elf crouches down, inspecting the "naughty gift," which is a mimic in disguise. After an unknown amount of time, the elf is found unconscious, the naughty box wrapped around her face. The box undulates, slamming into and jostling her face as white fluid drips from under the box and down her chin. A wet spot marks the front of her skirt as the same fluid leaks from below. To free the unconscious elf, a second elf tugs on the box, using his entire weight to pull it off. The naughty box is revealed to have deeply wriggled its amorphous shadowy body into the elf, oozing and spurting the same white liquid that coats her face, crotch, and leaking from her ears. Refusing to let go, the mimic wraps around her torso, gushing more and more as it stretches elastically from being tugged on. The still-unconscious elf flops limply, as her co-worker attempts to dislodge the creature.

Animated some janky animations to go along with the music I made.Lord Drag Lung of the Triple Moons was a great scientist on his homeworlds until he was banished and turned into a weapon of mass destruction by a group of unknown scientists. I sculpted him in Zbrush, retopo in Maya, baked and textured him in substance painter, then rendered him in Blender and Marmoset. He is also pretty optimized for games.
