I apologize with the messed up title right here and now. This was originally just supposed to be a small test so I can get back into animating after around six years (which was just me making crappy stick figure animations on paint as a 12 year old), however once I started making this animation have more than what I thought I was going to put into it, I was thinking on making this just part of a bigger and better animation video. Not long after I finished with this, my laptop got hard disk problems and was threatening on deleting everything. With my lack of ability and inventory to back up the data, I superman'd this animation and sent into my email so that it would not have to obliterated with all of everything else than can almost just be re-installed. After some time, I got everything saved and prevented the loss of everything, very luckily. It was only about a week, but it derailed the momentum I had going with the animation. If I can get inspired to get back on it, I will. If I don't, then I will just make some other animation. So, in case I don't, I don't want this one to just go to waste, so I am putting it out there. I think that is all I have to say about this whole scenario I had for some time. So, then, yeah. This is just somewhat a test animation, don't expect god-like animation. I am really hoping to hear some feedback, maybe even some pointers. I am especially wanting to hear a better way I could have made Luigi to have consumed the Tasty Tonic in a better looking way, because I see a paper-shredder everytime I look at it, I made it a lot better than when I first did all the frames of him "eating" it by getting rid of most of them, because it was even much more identical to a paper-shredder.
I regret not cropping some of the house out, so it would be looking closer to luigi. This is also my first animation in gimp, as oppose to making shoddy "websites" and gifs in web design class in senior highschool year.
Well, I hope you enjoy it!

Yeah, the colors of Mario's overalls are inverted because that's how it was in the cartoon. That's how little they cared. And Patrick is the same size as Mario and isn't shriveling up from dryness because that's how little I care. I see a lot of people praising the voice acting, so although it's pointed out twice in the Flash itself, I feel obligated to say here as well: THE DIALOGUE IS SAMPLED FROM ACTUAL EPISODES. Those episodes are named at the end of the video.

5/8/2024: At some point I unpublished this - I forget when or why exactly, but I think it was because back when it came out, some people in the comments section pointed out that the statistics in this seem kind of pseudo-sciencey and bullshitty (in hindsight, they were right!) and I spent a lot of energy defending myself in the replies which is now very embarrassing. Then someone messaged me on twitter saying the video meant a lot to them, so now it's back! The video was never really "about" the statistics anyway, so I guess it's petty of me to ignore all the nice things people said and fixate on this one flaw that exposed me as a guy who pretends to be smarter than he really is. But hey, I was fifteen, and only had like three weeks to make this!

What are the odds?

Music video for the song "Robots" by Flight of the Conchords.

I was in doubt if I should upload this one since it is an extended version, but then I remembered a lot of people wanted it in the reviews, and I realized this have twice more animation the last one have, so it's basically the same amount of work, and I really want to show it to the world, I think it's fair. Initially I wanted to animate over the longer version of the song but I could only find the shorter one, after uploading it people pointed out that the name of the song is "robots" and not "the humans are dead", so I was able to find the long version. Then I pondered if I should make the extended version, I'm not really a fan of extending things, seems like laziness and all, but at that time I watched the Flight of The Conchords TV show and got a lot more into their work so it made me want to go ahead and extend the animation over the longer song. In the end it took more time than the first one. That said, Flight of The Conchords is great, BUY THEIR STUFF, they had a TV show and it was amazing just like their songs. Anyway, I made music videos for practice, I have a lot of scripts to animate that I haven't touched because I'm a terrible animator, so I wanted to do some things without too much commitment first, I think I achieved my goal with these music videos, I'm ready to do my completely original animations, and you can expect a lot of them pretty soon. If you don't like it, that's fine, but please leave CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.
I hope you enjoy. Thank you.

Presentation Animation

The last in my cat shorts for a while, I'll be updating Swingers mostly. This was inspired by the lengths my cats would go to chase a laser pointer. It was originally just going be my cat angel (the big white one) but the concept grew. by the bye the character main's a girl everyone, I understand the confusion though. DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR PETS.... I hate that I have to say it but you cannot apply cartoon logic to the real world. youtube version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ru6GS_BizYs
