TANKMEN DETANKED

A steamboat captain finds himself shipwrecked on a mysterious island.

Kickstarter link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pollywogfilms/steamboat-willing DISCLAIMER: THIS FILM IS NOT ENDORSED BY OR ASSOCIATED WITH THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY OR ANY OF ITS SUBSIDIARIES OR AFFILIATES. "STEAMBOAT WILLING" IS A DERIVATIVE WORK OF THE 1928 ANIMATED SHORT FILM "STEAMBOAT WILLIE", WHICH AS OF JANUARY 1, 2024 IS PUBLIC DOMAIN. THIS PRODUCTION DOES NOT INFRINGE ON ANY CURRENTLY HELD COPYRIGHTS OR TRADEMARKS. Steamboat Willing is an idea I've had for a couple years now. I'd always thought about possibly making a movie featuring "the mouse" hoping the day would finally come when he'd become public domain, and it finally seemed like it would happen since things started entering the public domain again in 2019. I didn't really know what I could do for a feature-length adaptation of Steamboat Willie, until I was bored one day working in a factory in August 2021, and the idea came to me: Mickey gets shipwrecked on a colorful island full of wonder and whimsy, but soon finds it holds a dark secret. A pretty basic idea for a story about a steamboat captain, but, fittingly, it's an idea that has lots of room for expansion. From 2021 to even this year, I've had more and more ideas for the film, and in April 2023 I finally managed to tie all my loose ideas together into a plot that made sense and put together the first draft of the script, further refining it and recording scratch audio and eventually starting the storyboarding process. I now have the first 12 minutes storyboarded, as well as this one minute sequence fully animated, although most of this will likely not end up in the final film. The scene will still be there, but there's a bit more to it than what's here. A lot of this was rushed, so with proper time and resources it can look a lot better. Also this teaser was supposed to come out February 1st, I genuinely thought I could do it, but before picking it up again last month, I hadn't touched it since January. I don't remember what happened, there's just been a lot of bad mental roadblocks, but it's finished now and the kickstarter is up and I'm so anxious but so excited for people to finally see what I've been working on, even if it's only little snippets like this so far. I hope the kickstarter is successful, because it's my only option now to get this done in a timely manner. My freelance gig of the last year is wrapping up, so now I'm on the hunt for jobs again, and I might have to go back to factory work, although at this point I'll be surprised if I can even manage to get a job, no one's responding. Though that's probably for the best right now since if I got a job before the kickstarter finishes up, and it is a success, then I have to go through the awkward process of quitting so soon after starting so I can focus on the movie lmao Oh well, we'll see what happens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Steamboat Willing - Teaser

As The Void is falling apart, Socrates knows just what to do!

"I found this weird cartoon in my laptops C: drive, which was probably left there by my father. It's about a woman named Glitter, being stuck in a digital realm with doors leading to multiple pocket dimensions, who's trying to find her way out and figure out what happened to her. There's also programs and assumably another human named Socrates. For some reason it seems like he's not too keen on leaving. I'm at the last episode and the plot became so bad I had to show it to you guys. The recording quality of the episodes I have are kinda shit, so bear with me on this one." Void of the Corrupt: Back in Time

One day, Anansi was very hungry and couldn't find anything to eat.He decided to take a basket, along with a large pot, and headed toward seaside to go fishing. The Spider then made a fire for his pot and called out to the sea, "Hey Big fish come!" Huge fish came and he caught some of them, placing them in his basket.Anansi shouted "Big fish go, make little fish come!" next, scaring the big fish away. Smaller fish then came and he caught them also, placing them in his basket. Anansi repeated this until he filled both his pot and basket with a variety of fish, then sat his basket aside. Anansi spared no time cooking all of the fish he'd captured inside his pot and ate them. Anansi then collected his things once he was full and headed back toward his home, hiding his now-empty pot in a bush along the way. Eventually, Anansi met Tiger on his trek back home, and was frightened, because Tiger was very intimidating. Tiger demanded to know what Anansi had in his basket.Anansi replied in a feeble voice that his basket was empty. Tiger let the Spider go about his way, but remained suspicious of Anansi, and decided to spy on the Spider once the two had gained some distance between each other. Tiger watched as Anansi soon sat near a tree and opened the basket with the fish he'd caught earlier that day. Next, Anansi began to remove each of the fish he'd caught and gloated over them; first a yellow-tail, then a snapper, and finally, a jack-fish. Tiger then sprung out of hiding and confronted Anansi about his deception.Tiger caught Anansi in his lie and noted that the Spider had said he didn't have any fish when they'd last spoke. Anansi made an excuse, however, and said that he'd gone to take a bath after they met and caught some fish while he was out bathing. Tiger thus demanded that Anansi give him all of the fish he'd caught, and the Spider obeyed. Tiger devoured all of Anansi's fish and left only the bones for Anansi to eat, who took them up reluctantly and ate those instead. Anansi complained under his breath that all of his hard work had gone to waste and decided to spy on Tiger, planning to trick him. The two continued down the road and saw a fruit tree; knowing Tiger was greedy, Anansi remarked that there were pretty fruit in the tree. Tiger ordered Anansi to climb the tree and fetch some of the fruit, unaware of Anansi's plot. Anansi conceded.Anansi reached the top of the fruit tree and noticed Tiger was standing directly beneath him; the Spider warned Tiger that he could see lice in his hair. Tiger fell for Anansi's ruse and demanded that Anansi catch the lice for him, but Anansi told Tiger that he needed him to lean against the tree first. Tiger agreed and Anansi came down, pretending to search for the lice he claimed to have seen. Soon his scheme was successful; Tiger fell asleep while Anansi did so, because of how long it was, and the Spider wasted no time tying Tiger's hair to the fruit-tree. When he was finished, Anansi woke Tiger and toldy him that he couldn't find any other lice in his hair. Tiger demanded that Anansi capture them all, but Anansi refused to help him. Tiger tried to attack Anansi in anger but was stuck; Tiger realized what Anansi had really done while he was asleep and ordered Anansi to untie his hair, but Anansi refused to and taunted Tiger, bragging that he'd tied him like a hog. Anansi was no longer afraid of Tiger and left his rival behind, heading home. Tiger, however, was not so lucky: a hunter soon saw Tiger by the fruit-tree and killed him.Animation for my senior finals. It’s part of an install project.

Lately, Aoi has been seeing things. Dreaming. Robots shouldn’t be able to do that.. and these dreams are starting to feel too real. I was hoping to have a bit of an expository, re-debut Aoi video before this, but time is running out, and I really wanted to share this before the end of Aoi April. More will be explained in the near future. Let’s get this plot rolling! I hope this helps set the mood for the rest of the year. I am looking forward to sharing the rest of what I’ve had up my sleeve over the coming months. But, now its time for Miao Miao May! Hahaha!

Adult punk series. What if Gandalf and Prodo end up in modern reality?

Hi. My name is Alex. And for 15 years I've been drawing cartoons (bad and good) A little tired of doing commercial projects, I decided to saw my author's cartoon alone. But with famous characters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rv8j9PFiZtg In the title decided to change the first two letters of the names of characters (by analogy with Rick and Morty)In the cartoon, according to the plot, the characters of "The Lord of the Rings" get into the REAL WORLD. And they're freaking out about what's going on around them, experiencing wild cognitive dissonance . Yes. And it's all likely to smell like Beavis and Butthead and David Lynch (all things I love and have been inspired by since childhood). Drawing stretches for many months, as I combine it with my main job (Meet Arnold) I have to find literally a few hours a week for my project. I've always dreamed of making author's cartoons, and started with them as a teenager. And old age is near! Quite (I'm 33 years old)In addition, the abundance of "impressions and emotions" over the past couple years, as well as total depression, require therapy (many creative people feel the need to take out their emotions in creativity, so as not to move off the head) The first episode is up and I'll upload it to youtube soon. A film created in 48 hours, parodying our favourite animated duo

2000s web animation meets Northern Spirit in Steeple-Jacked! A homemade parody where Wallace and Gromit are asked to take down a chimney for Fred Dibnah. Our third 48-hour animation, this time we ventured into the world of parody with a Wallace and Gromit adventure. Embracing the time limit to create something on the more crude side, we had a lot of fun working with established characters (don't sue us, Aardman!) and planning a film joke-first and plot-second. To see a write up about the film, see https://www.cutthemustardanimation.com/post/steeple-jacked.

Content Warning: Bondage My first animated short of 2024! Marie and Marina play a game of high-stakes Tableturf, and things don't go quite as planned for everyone's favorite Octoling idol. This first short is a bit on the shorter and simpler side as it was made on a whim after receiving comments on some previous posts. That, and I wanted to practice with my pacing - I've noticed in previous animations that I tend to spend too much time on setting up the scenario and giving the actual content not much screentime. I hope to work on that as I animate this year, and provide a more steady balance of plot and "plot ;)" Hope everyone on Newgrounds has had a good 2024 so far. Expect more animations from me this year. I can't promise anything to the length of Vampire's Curse, but I have good stuff planned!

Splatoon: Tableturf Tie-Up

episode 1 is more of a proof of concept than an actual episode, thats why it barely has any plot, infact i was originally planning to replace episode 1's story with episode 6's "paint ball" although that never happened and paintball was moved to episode 5 instead anyways the plot of the episode is pretty simple! A rude skeleton named Jonesy, and his new friend Prosciutto the discount clown are both homeless and broke. Fed up with bad tv shows, the two plot to steal the newest gaming system if they ever want to cure their overall boredom. I made this PSA for KVCC Storyboarding Class! The cartoon here explores homelessness and the extreme measures taken by individuals to escape it, including thievery.

DRASTIC MEASURES (unfinished animation)

Denis watch the VHS tape, but something is not right.

Finally finish this episode, so here it is. Oh and happy Halloween everyone. I been working on this for a whole weeks. This episode is only in a analog horror parody which I'm poking fun of the genre. So, what the hell is this story about? "This plot starts off with some rumor about a mystery boulder with a face going around terrifying some humanoid people around the areas. Denis a humanoid gopher when he found a VHS tape at his front door in the middle of the night. He have no idea who put it at his front door, he looked at the tape to see who this belong to. It was his friend Taylor, a humanoid raccoon. He wonder why didn't he knock the door. So he decide to play the VHS tape and he starts to watch the tape. As should he kept watching, there was more scenes in that tape." Programs: Sony Vegas, TTS, and others. This is a inspired of the movie by The Ring.

Looping variant of our cover for "Tangle & Whisper: New Roads" Issue #1

"Tangle & Whisper: New Roads" is a little comic project I started back in 2021 with some friends who also wanted to see more adventures of Whisper and Tangle. At the time in the IDW comics, they hadn't been seen in a while, and wouldn't be teamed up together for some time later. After throwing away several ideas, a little neat plot about the Lemur and Wolf returning to the Chemical Plant from "Forces" took shape! Now that New Grounds will be allowing us to post comics, and that a certain Blue Bird app is actively dying and becoming a terrible place to post, we're hoping here will be a better place to share our project! This animation is a Live2D of Issue #1's cover. Currently Issue #1 is complete and will be posted in the coming days, Issue #2 is in active-development, and other projects not yet revealed coming soon!!! Any feedback is also appreciated! How long can a hunter fight the Bloodlust?

YT: https://youtu.be/HyAEmK11KN8 Impurity is an action flick about a hunter sent into a dying city to end the growing Bloodlust. This movie draws heavy inspiration from Bunnykill's fast paced, movement-focused action rather than the slower style of Madness. Coincidentally I happened to finish the movie in time for Madness Day, but I'm really not interested in holding off on the release for MD. Overall making this movie was a smooth and enjoyable experience with less annoying 2D backgrounds, smoother choreography and what I would consider the final iteration of my sprite style. Originally this was going to be part of a larger series, however I decided to make this a standalone movie. The writing definitely suffered from the change. I had a lot of trouble trying to make the themes and ideas work without the extra context of a larger plot, and I had to severely cut back Ellinia's dialogue because it just didn't work on its own. I left it open a little bit to the possibility of more movies in this world, but I will likely not be making any due to upcoming life events. This movie was made over the course of about 4 months with many short breaks sprinkled throughout. Enjoy.

Logline: In a mysterious facility, David, a captive, engineers his escape by tricking a guard.Director's Statement:Creating this short film has been a stepping stone towards fulfilling my ultimate goal of bringing my long-held animated series dream to life. Although this short film represents only a fraction of the larger story, its significance lies in the progress I have made towards sharing this narrative with the world. Despite encountering discouragement for not following the traditional path of creating a standalone plot, I believe that dedicating myself to chipping away at telling this story has been vital for my personal growth and artistic fulfillment. RHOMBAZOID EPISODE 7: TEAL RETURNS AGAIN

Alright well, here's the obligatory filler video that I usually make when I'm working on a bigger project. I decided to make this one a glorified recoil or shooting test thingymabob, with a lil JoJo reference at the end. So yeah, as I said, shooting test. Btw, when I was talking about that bigger project, I was talkin about this one hank animation I'm making. It's just a mindless killing animation of Madness Combat 4 Hank with no plot. Why? Cause I miss doin mindless killings with no lore. It used to be a collab but as I've mentioned many times on stream, collabs never work, so whatever Credits:Rafael 8008OsfamaEastly ➤ Join my Discord server or face the violence: https://discord.gg/xutjpJGm9E ➤ I got a Newgrounds account that you can check outhttps://mrshonaz.newgrounds.com/ -Shonaz

The Blender Donut Saga: Episode 2

Dinosaur Rob makes a startling discovery, on his face!

Dinosaur Rob's at it again! Rambling up a storm about a recent claim that some dinosaurs, specifically T-Rex, had lips. Does it matter? Hell no. But it sure looks awkward! Still, can you blame him for being so stoked? He can whistle now! 👍 If you enjoyed this and want more, like and subscribe to my Youtube channel! https://www.youtube.com/Bobert-Rob/?sub_confirmation=1💰If you wish to, you can tip here! https://streamelements.com/bobertrob/tip💬Discord: https://discord.com/invite/nBmnTX8🌲For any other link, check my Linktree! https://linktr.ee/bobert_rob This one simply exists because of the article I read about some researchers deciding T Rex had lips. It's just funny how often people get bent out of shape when scientists change their minds about how something 65 million years old looked when it was alive. Like, we don't know! We can't possibly. There's no way for us to know, and frankly there never will be. Or how people give Jurassic Park crap for making them scaley and green, or not giving them lips or whatever. Part of the plot was giving them frog DNA, right? So an excuse is baked right into the plot. And we'll never have it 100% right anyway, it isn't possible. So just enjoy that people still research dusty skeletons and dirt samples at all so you can imagine your big fat toothy lizards doing whatever. Wait wasn't I trying to talk about the cartoon? I was making a short based on the "Dinosaurs had lips" tagline and it turned into a unique Dinosaur Rob rant, so that's what I ended up making. Yeah. Rant over!

Dinosaurs Had Lips

Cruiser Series (my other videos) is definitely part of this and i will work on its finale next!
