I would therefore appreciate some pointers to be successful with animations like these.

A short Haloween thing based on "Robert the Doll" (Warning: Something pops up at the end.) Before you see this 15 sec animation read this passage about him taken from good ol Wikipedia: "Robert, otherwise known as Robert the Doll[1], Robert the Haunted Doll[2][3][4], or Robert the Devil Doll[5]; is a doll that was once owned by Key West painter and author Robert Eugene Otto. The doll is alleged to be possesed by evil spirits and has a terrifying reputation. The doll, which is allegedly cursed, has become a fixture of ghost tours in the Key West area since it was inducted into the Fort East Martello Museum. Aesthetically, Robert resembles an early 20th century American Naval officer. Contrary to popular belief, however, the doll's hair is not made of human hair, but rather, it consists of a synthetic material resembling wool yarn.[6] Eugene was given the doll in 1904 by an African servant who, according to legend, was skilled in black magic and voodoo and was displeased with the family. Soon afterward it became clear that there was something eerie about the doll. Eugene's parents said they often heard him talking to the doll and that the doll appeared to be talking back. Although at first they assumed that Eugene was simply answering himself in a changed voice, they later believed that the doll was actually speaking. Neighbors claimed to see the doll moving from window to window when the family was out. The Otto family swore that sometimes the doll would emit a terrifying giggle and that they caught glimpses of it running from room to room. In the night Eugene would scream, and when his parents ran to the room they would find furniture knocked over and Eugene in bed, looking incredibly scared, telling them that "Robert did it!". In addition, guests swore the saw Robert's expression change before their eyes. When Eugene died in 1974, the doll was left in the attic until the house was bought again. The new family included a ten year old girl, who became Robert's new owner. It was not long before the girl began screaming out in the night, claiming that Robert moved about the room and even attempted to attack her on multiple occasions. More than thirty years later, she still tells interviewers that the doll was alive and wanted to kill her.[7] The doll is annually rotated to the Old Post Office and Customhouse in October, with museum staff claiming that strange activity in the museum increases during such times. The doll made an appearance at Taps CON [8], a paranormal convention held in Clearwater, Florida in May 2008. This was the first time that it had left Key West, Florida in the 105 years of its existence. Individuals who desire to visit Robert in the Fort East Martello Museum and wish to take a picture of him, according to legend, the person must ask the doll politely, and if he does not agree (by tipping his head to one side) and the individual takes a picture anyway, then the doll will curse the person and their family.[9] The movie Child's Play was inspired by Robert the Doll.[10] The manga-style picture book, Evangeline, by joPYON was inspired by Robert the Doll.[11]" There HAPPY?

PineappleSocom experiences a life-changing Awakening.

Suddenly we find ourselves in love
with fresh cilantro, both of us, and now we put it into everything-
salsa, of course, but also into salads and sides, and we find ourselves
eating it all by itself and putting the fingers that have handled it,
steadied it while we chopped it, up to our noses, breathing deep.
The crispness of its leaf's become an unexplained addiction, a mystery
so citrusy, of scent or secret spice- and we are high on how it dawns
in us anew each time we think to add it to the soup, and we're
embarrassed by the way we feel because we both remember clearly
another time, though not exactly when, in which we'd had a very pointed conversation
and agreed we didn't like it in the least.

After nearly a decade on this site, i'm proud to present my first real animation project entitled: Duality
it took me about 4 months of work and it's all pencil drawn.
unfortunatly, in this version the quality is heavely reduced and it gets pretty blurry at times, You'l hafto forgive me for the lack of the preloader aswell. try and ignore these minor setbacks and enjoy! Frontpage! I never expected to get this amount of views and ratings, it's blown my mind. You guys rock.
Thanks Newgrounds for your support, all the reviews &amp; pointers. It's been awesome.

*The first page has coding, let it load, be patient. This is necessary to prevent lag.* Freelance medic Jazz Cassidy is out to make a dollar by any means necessary, but getting caught in a street war between a militant Christian church and a research company that has way too many fans was NOT in the plan. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOCK LEGION HERE ARE SOME SPAM FLASHES TO CELEBRATE

The Trash Troupe are proud, okay not very proud, but enjoy presenting this sexual flash featuring three sexy and swell flashes featuring three sexy people:
- Hip Hop Harry
- Quentin Eggert from Pelswick
- Ord from DragonTales To celebrate Lock Day, Hip Hop Harry will poop a candle for your birthday cake and Quentin and Ord provide homosexual entertainment for your viewing pleasure. They even got on their Lock Day threads on. NOW LETS CELEBRATE LOCK DAY WITH A DOUBLE LOAD OF LEARNING FROM WIKIPEDIA LEARN ABOUT THE LOCK LEGION
Courtesy of Wikigrounds instead of WIKIPEDIA
ITS AMAZING WHAT YOU CAN FIND ON WIKIPEDIA The Lock Legion was created in 2003 by Strawberry Lock as a joke to annoy the Clock Crew, a well-established crew of animators on Newgrounds. They started with the animation SBL's Triumph submitted on the 24th of May 2003. Notable Members
[Show last ad] (in alphabetical order) * 8-Ball Lock - A former moderator, formerly known as Glock Lock.
* Anime Lock - Anime Lock is a face type lock who is often found placed in strange and awkward positions within flashes.
* Arm Lock - Former coder for the Lock Legion.
* Aubergine Lock - Aubergine is known for his work with the Cool Things series on Newgrounds. Aubergine is another word used for an Eggplant. Aubergine Lock is also the winner of 5 awards on Newgrounds.
* Clock Lock - Winner of two daily awards for her flashes.
# Cloud Lock - Based on the character from Final Fantasy. Cloud Lock was developed by the animator Wonchop.
# Coffee Lock - Moderator for LockLegion.com.
# Communist Lock - Known also as Two Star, of the Star Syndicate, Communist is known for being a strict moderator and administrator. Communist is also the owner of LockLegion.co.uk NOW TO LEARN FROM WIKIPEDIA ABOUT LOCKS A lock is a mechanical or electronic fastening device which may be used on a door, vehicle, or container, restricting access to the area or enclosed property and that can be released by something that authorized personnel requires such as a security token. Ie. A key, keycard, fingerprint, RFID card, or a keycode, password, or combination of both. Typically, in pin-tumbler and wafer-tumbler applications, a lock in the rest position is closed. The key has a a series of grooves on either side of the key (the key's blade) limits the type of lock the key can slide into. As the key slides into the lock, the grooves on the blade of the key align with the wards in the keyway allowing or denying entry to the cylinder. Then, a series of pointed teeth and notches on the blade called bittings allow pins or wafers to move up and down until they are in line with the shear line of the inner and outer cylinder, allowing the cylinder or cam to rotate freely inside the lock and the lock to open. History of locks Securing one's property has long been a concern of people throughout the world. Beyond hiding the objects or constantly guarding them the most frequently used option is to secure them with a device. Early solutions included knots to either detect, like the Thief knot, or hamper, like the Gordian Knot. Historians are unsure where the first lock was invented, but evidence suggests that locks initially developed independently in the Egyptian, Greek, and Roman civilizations. Wooden locks and keys were in use as early as 4,000 years ago in Assyria [1]. The first known lock with a key is a pin lock. The lock is strung on a rope hanging out of a hole in a door. A cylinder of wood with a hole drilled through its axis is the key, the length of the cylinder being the critical factor. The key is inserted into the hole and the bolt is pushed the correct distance. To lock the door the rope was pulled to extract the key cylinder, simultaneously pulling the bolt closed. This type of lock is still in use in certain parts of the world. Puerto Rico still uses this system. A disadvantage of this lock is that a vandal can push the rope into the hole - an ancient equivalent of putting glue into a lock. CHEERS TO THE LOCK LEGIGON FROM THE TRASH TROUPE

Hello everyone. It´s been a while since I submitted anything here, so I thought I´d kick it up a notch by doing some after effects compositing and such.. Quite a big file, but I think it´s worth the wait, so make yourselves a cup of tea while you wait for the film to load:) If you enjoy the music and general theme, be sure to check out the rest of our stuff - this is actually made to be part of our live performance, along with other visuals, so if you like what you see and hear, check out our myspace by clicking the audio link! EDIT - Frontpage!! I am very happy and very thankful! And I do love getting reviews, as I read them all carefully and use them as pointers to what I can improve - without feedback I would never get anywhere! Thank you all for many kind words, glad so many have taken the time to watch it, considering the large filesize! *Update*
Wow, cant believe the score! and weekly 1st, this is brilliant! I have uploaded a new and final version, there shouldnt be any more problems with the audio sync now, and there are small changes to some scenes and the credits.

NG tales eps.01

An epic illustrated tale of love, loss and lingering odours. Talents from Mr Coo + Cuboy!

While you load, feel free to read these comments, and also check out the collaborators' sites down below for more great work.
Be sure to TURN UP YOUR VOLUME!
Questions about words? Please USE DICTIONARY.COM!
THANKS FOR YOUR REVIEWS! After receiving over 350, I CAN'T PROMISE I'LL RESPOND TO NEW REVIEWS! I'll try! Here is the Newgrounds Flash version of "A Bid for Freedom". It is a story that I wrote and converted into a small fable with images provided by the talented Nacho Rodriguez (who created Mr. Coo and won the #1 slot in Cold Hard Flash's Best Animated) and lush watercolours by his girlfriend Cecilia Deshayes.
It is an illustrated storybook, narrated for your pleasure by the debonair Andy Dennis, with guest turns by Sasuya and Josh "Tomamoto" Tomar you HAVE to hear!
The Storybook route was pursued so it could enter ReNaeNae's excellent Storybook Collab;
<a href="http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1003968">http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1003968</a> Talents in writing, art, voice, sound, code etc. should give it a look! To turn the pages, hover your mouse pointer over the bottom corner of the page, then left-click and drag the page across with your mouse until it fully flips over.
Narration starts on each page as you view it, but you're free to read at your own pace (you can right-click and select "Zoom In", then drag around to see all the fine details). This story is NOT an attempt at hair-pin-bend trigger-happy balls-to-the-wall FBF hentai-maniac game-parodying shenanigannary. NO REALLY, IT'S NOT!
The power here is in the words and the pictures.
There is COMEDY, ACTION, DRAMA and ROMANCE, all skewed at odd angles.
There's fantasy, exotic locations, body odour, and even a fast car if you stick with it!
Have patience, we've many things to offer you. Stick with us. We're a good group. Please vote and review showing respect to the combined talent and hard work involved in this Flash. A lot of passion went into this just for you guys, so be fair.
Critique, constructive criticism, suggestions, these are things we graciously accept.
If you vote or review abusively, you let Newgrounds down. Don't.
If this is "not your sort of thing" or you're somehow disappointed by the lack of animation, this is not the fault of anyone involved; no-one's forcing you to watch! With all this in mind, we hope you enjoy (with your drink or snack of choice) our hard work, vote and review responsibly... and may your day be brighter. For more awesome while you wait, check out:

Further thanks go to the Newgrounds Team for their support of this work, and to all Newgrounds users who do the same (including Mr GUS, who is highly underrated: be sure to see his latest <a href="http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/483436">http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/483436</a> and vote for it in this year's Treasure Hunt).

A Bid For Freedom

This video was created entirely by myself, but as I am new to flash, i had a few pointers from Battosai810

Biker Road Rage

The final episode, Megaman vs Zero vs Bass

2nd dail place and I'm on the front page!!!!!!! Thank you everyone for your reviews and pointers, I will try to answer as many of them as i can, it was my first flash movie in almost two years. A couple of things i have read: Sprite close ups: i know, believe me i know sometimes the blockiness of sprites may ruin the movie, but it's all we can do to add some punch to the scene when you work with sprites. Even with the blockiness i think it's more than just a far out view of an empty room and 3 small characters. Voice acting: i wanted to finish this series and it had been more than two years, back then it took me a long time to find good voice actors that's why there are none on this episode. Story: Like i have said before, this is a personal take on what happened between megaman and megaman x BUT it also has some details related to my other two megaman series, that's why it may not make much sense if you only watch this episode. It's been a long time. But after almost two years I am done with the final episode to my series. To those not familiar with the series make sure to read the summary so at least you will know what's going on. This is my take of what happened between the Megaman and Megaman X story, it's a personal take so of course some stuff will be done based more on my past series than what on Capcom may have said already. The ending i know already it'll be a hit or miss, but it's hard to come up with a "surprising" ending when everybody knows how everything it's supposed to end. Enjoy!
